Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with us. This policy outlines the shipping, delivery, and logistics terms of ELSEWHERE HOME LIMITED. By placing an order on elsewherehome.co.uk, you agree to the terms set forth below.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship to:
- United Kingdom (mainland and Northern Ireland)
Order Processing
- All orders are processed within 1–7 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
- You will receive another notification when your order has been shipped, including a tracking number.
Delivery Timeframes
Shipping Option & Estimated Delivery Time
Standard UK Delivery 1–3 business days
⏱️ Please note: Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be subject to delays due to high volume, customs, or courier issues. We are not liable for delays outside our control.
Shipping Costs
- Free shipping for orders over £70.
- Shipping fees are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the delivery address and order weight.
- Return shipping costs for non-defective items (e.g., change of mind) must be covered by the customer.
Failed Delivery or Wrong Address
- If a delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, or if the parcel is unclaimed, the customer may be responsible for any re-delivery costs.
Delivery Issues & Lost Parcels
- If your parcel is delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, please contact us.
- If your order is lost or arrives defective, we will work with the courier to resolve the issue. For defective or incorrect items, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photo evidence. We will provide a refund, replacement, or exchange at no extra cost.
- If tracking shows an order as "delivered" but the customer claims non-receipt, ELSEWHERE HOME LIMITED will assist in investigating with the carrier. However, we are not liable for orders marked "delivered" by the courier, including deliveries left at a customer-designated Safe Place (including but not limited to doorstep, porch, garage, or with a neighbour). Where a customer instructs the courier to leave the parcel in a Safe Place, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer once the courier confirms delivery to that location.
